We have been building customized and standard hydraulic cylinders for over 40 years, designed for different sectors and uses. They are designed to be reliable over time.
The Hydraulic Business Unit is a consolidated reality for the AMA group. We are the point of reference for many manufacturers of agricultural, earthmoving, industrial, and recreational vehicles. We produce about 300,000 cylinders a year in the factories of San Martino in Rio (Italy) and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Our modern and automated production plants and a strong orientation towards customization make us the ideal partner for large quantities and for developing new projects together.
Starting from the customer’s specifications, the technical office designs and sizes the most suitable cylinders for the required application using components made internally or by selected partners, with particular attention to European regulations on safety and use.
Alongside the production of hydraulic cylinders, we offer a line of items for the construction of control units and hydraulic systems such as flexible hoses, both loose and connected, gear pumps, multipliers, orbital motors, hydro-guides, distributors, and valves.

Customised hydraulic cylinders
Our customised cylinders are made to meet the customer’s requirements; the design can start from a basic drawing or from a list of specifications and tests that the product must fulfil.
Technical features
Depending on the use, working pressure and peak pressure, different types of materials are chosen:
- Chrome bar: made of C45, 20MnV6 or 42CrMo4, with optional hardening heat treatments for greater durability.
- Headers: built in G25, GS400 or C45
- Pistons: available in C45 or AVZ
For custom cylinders, the working pressure can reach up to 300 bar.
Standard hydraulic cylinders
Our standard line available from stock in various sizes and with various types of welded ends is suitable for various types of medium-light applications (till 200 bar). The third-point cylinders are an excellent alternative as a non-original spare part for tractors of the various brands on the market.

Hydraulic jacks
The hydraulic agricultural trailer jack is extremely versatile and can also be used successfully in others application.
One of the main advantages of hydraulic jack is the presence of a double-acting locking valve. This mechanism provides a safe and stable lock, ensuring that the trailer remains in position during tipping. In addition, the telescopic nature of the servo-foot allows a wide range of movement.
A spring-return version is also available.
Customised hydraulic feet are available on request.

Refluid components for power units and oleodynamic systems
We supply crimp hoses of different diameters and types, custom-made according to customer specifications. In addition, we can perform static pressure tests on the hoses to ensure their reliability.
Our 40- and 80-liter monobloc spool valves are ideal for low-speed machine and are available in different circuit configurations.
Group 2 and 3 gear pumps, available in various displacements and with both left and right directions of rotation, are suitable for low-speed machines and hydraulic power packs.
Our Danfoss power steering units are designed for agricultural applications, while power steering columns are reliable and versatile, ideal for low-speed machines.
